You must have seen Gagnum Style Dance Video, Park Jae Sang aka PSY, a South Korean Superstar has just received his first ever Guinness World Records Certificate in London for spreading his viral video of Gagnum Style Dance. His video has break every record of Youtube for getting most likes last month. Now other video has such record in history of Youtube.
The earth shaking dance video Gagnum Style video was uploaded on youtube on 15th July, 2012 and managed to get 4,911,081 likes, breaking the record of 1,574,963 likes of LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem, 1,327,147 likes of Justin’s Bieber’s Baby, and 1,245,641 likes of British pop star Adele’s Rolling in the Deep.
on 8th November 2012, In the award ceremony, while the award was being awarded to PSY, he said that it is the great honour for him to get this award, this is his first every certificate in his life, he never got any certificate even in his school lol :D
While presenting the award to PSY, The Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records Craig Glenday said:
“We’re pleased to present his official certificate to such a global phenomenon, Gangnam Style is an infectious, joyous song that has brought a smile to the faces of a tenth of the world’s population, and the result is that it’s the most liked video of any kind in the history of YouTube!”
